How-To-Make-Room-For-Creativity

How to make room for creativity so you can thrive well!

Are you ready to lose yourself, but gain yourself?A top complaint I hear from my clients is, “I have no energy.” It sounds so simple, but I bet you didn’t know that creativity equals energy. My clients tell me they have no idea how to find the creative part of themselves, and their lives are feeling drained because everything seems overwhelming or unfulfilling–and there’s nothing wrong with either!

Typically, clients have lost themselves to their kids, their families, the stress of modern-day life, or the stress and overwhelm of their unexplained illness, hormones, autoimmune conditions, gut disorders, or the dread of extra pounds they lack in energy.

You may think this means giving up on yourself entirely; however true change starts small…a few minutes here or an hour there can make all the difference in you being able to let go during those rare moments when we’re truly alone with our thoughts or even just taking time out from our busy schedule.

But why does creativity matter?  You see… Creativity equals Energy.

I want to help you find that creative bone in your body and bring energy into your life.

You may feel you have no time for creativity, which is why I want to encourage you to find areas of your life you can change…

Your routine

Your sleep

Your nutrition

Nothing complicated, but small changes bring big results.

And change gives you room for Creativity.

Here are some ways to start today and add creativity to your day:

  • Journal
  • Blog
  • Baking
  • Music
  • Musical Instrument
  • Meditative Coloring Book
  • Painting
  • Gardening

Activities of enjoyment bring balance between hectic and creative, bring you the power to express yourself, and give you energy to focus on what’s needed.

Even if you are a busy nurse working in the hospital, or a college student, you can use paper, pens, and color highlighters to get a flow and routine of color.  Be creative without a lot of time or money in high tech gear.

Running and hiding your creative side has consequences. If you escape your emotions, you often find it negatively effects your self-esteem or even causes depression.

So, STOP Running away.  It’s time to make a change and get creative!
